1. TITLE: Find that page! - Book Marks

Book Marks
This activity was a huge success as a basic life skill was taught as well. Students learned how to sew. The objectives: Sewing skills, creation of a product, production systems, labor skills and packaging. This made special hand made gifts for student's loved ones.

2. TITLE: A Hat for all seasons!

Manufacturing - Paper hats
This was a fun activity where students worked in groups to create fun hats using only newspaper and sticky tape: lessons on creativity, deadlines and teamwork were learnt.


3. TITLE: Well wishes

Grade: 11

Christmas cards
Fun activity of creativity and creating a meaningful product during Christmas time. Students then presented their decorated card to their favorite teacher.

4. TITLE: Reduce, Recycle & Reuse!

Toy train - There she blows!
This was one of the products that was made out of used cans. Lesson learnt: research skills, environmental awareness, team work, creativity and documenting.

5. TITLE: Competition Time!!

Design a T-shirt
Students participated in a customer engagement activity where they had to design a T-shirt using the company’s brand. Customer engagement creates hype and loyalty towards the brand.

6. TITLE: Let's lend a hand

Theme: Life skills & Corporate Social Development
Grade: 11

Students adopted a NPO and collected monies and doggie food and toys. We managed to raise 2500RMB which our Principal presented to the owner of the NPO. Lessons learnt: Corporate Social Responsibility, looking out for those in need. Students planned a campaign where the whole school population was urged to donate to help our furry friends. We managed to raise RMB2500 with the help of our generous Principal who matched the student's donations of RMB 1250. Toys and doggy food were also collected.

7. TITLE: Service with a smile!

Service Business
After learning about the Manufacturing business, the students learned the difference between the other types of businesses. They offered services to teachers who mock graded them.

Students completed a customer profile on themselves. Lesson also lent itself to qualities needed to be an entrepreneur.

9. TITLE: Co-lab: Success at all costs!

Theme: Life skills & Sales, Marketing & Promotion & Team work
Grade: 11

Students researched a famous person's quotation on success, printed and mounted it on a frame. This was then promoted and sold to teachers and students. Monies were donated to the school. Also a form of CSR.
