We have all been through so many different emotions and experiences over the last year. Isn’t it time to hope that we can move on? Here’s hoping…
The sometimes moving, sometimes funny stories naturally lend themselves to monologues and performance.
Now it’s time for us to create monologues about our personal experiences and situations during the pandemic.
Pandemic diseases may cause major societal disruption and pose great challenges to human adaptation. In recent decades, the likelihood of pandemics has likely increased due to more mobility, urbanization, and other factors. The spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the accompanying countermeasures can significantly impact the well-being of adolescents.
Write a monologue for one of your sock puppets. The theme: Surviving Lockdown.
Many will connect with the themes of loss, isolation, mental health, and community support. There is emotional content, but it is suitable for a family audience.
How are you? How’s it going? What have you gone through over the past week and a half? Covid testing, Canvas, travel, no travel, what else?
Assignment: Write and perform a monologue for your sock puppet. Theme: Surviving Lockdown. Length: Like the examples above, about 200 words.
