Tie Dying is fun!

This was intended to spice up the Marketing class. I just felt that there was too much theory. This lesson could be adapted to environmental awareness like recycling or used the way I intended it to be - modification of an existing product (Product life cycle - maturity stage). Ideally students could either buy new T-shirts or make them. Because of time constraints, I opted for old T-shirts to be revamped. I bought the dye from Taobao (not expensive), I asked students to bring gloves and a large freezer bag, I provided the string (art supplies). We used other items from the school like colander from the foods room and the plastic lids from our stationery baskets as a rack (necessity is the mother of all inventions!) This was a two-day activity.
