Meet the STEAM Coordinators
The STEAM educational systems at MLES are led by Systems Coordinators who are responsible for supporting and developing STEAM programs and initiatives at each campus or across multiple campuses that showcase student achievements.
Alet DuToit
Systems Coordinator: Science
Alet is a Biology teacher with a passion for Science and Technology. Alet has been with Maple Leaf since 2014. She believes that students do not come into our classrooms as blank slates, but as individuals with a range of beliefs, knowledge, and interests, we, therefore, need to build on that and create lessons that will engage every individual in our constantly changing world.

Lisa is a retired Accountant and Entrepreneur who has a passion for organizing education that empowers students to succeed. She loves engaging in all things related to Business and Technology studies.
Jessa Jieyu Xiao
Systems Coordinator:
Fine Arts
Jessa is a concert pianist and Music teacher. She started working at MLES in 2022. She believes that art keeps our soul inspired, so it will never wither. She also believes that by instilling responsibility, empathy, and curiosity in our students through the learning of art, our next generation can collectively build a better future and world.
